The ideal Technology Manager is a person with a vision who nevertheless has a sound understanding of how the real world works. This manager will be up to date with new developments, will be innovative and will be able to budget effort and resources accurately. Profitability, productivity and market requirements will all be factors in the manager's thinking. Our candidates are groomed to become this type of person.

Candidate attributes are therefore:

• A person with about five years post graduate work experience
• A high degree of flexibility of mind to accept the many new viewpoints and challenges offered
• A risk orientated person with an enthusiastic attitude to innovation and implementation
• The ability to motivate people and to understand and accept divergent points of view
• An analytical mind that gives attention to detail, but can also grasp the magnitude of the bigger picture
• A person who can work well with others in completely different disciplines
• An instinctive leader who can aim towards leading major projects on the road to success

A candidate is a person with a University Degree or Technikon Diploma. Foreign candidates are accepted with equivalent qualifications. Persons with non-technical qualifications have also been included to expose them to working with technology teams.
